Meet Dr. Nicholas Carlson (Brownsburg, IN)

Nicholas Carlson, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in May 2024. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from DePauw University in 2020, with a special field of interest in dry eye.

He chose optometry after discovering through job shadowing that it was a profession where he could help people daily while making a meaningful, personal impact on his community. What he enjoys most about being an optometrist is getting to know patients, having meaningful conversations, and helping them with their eye health.

Outside of the office, Dr. Carlson enjoys soccer, hiking, camping, and spending time at the lake.
